We are looking for friendly, and enthusiastic people to volunteer with us as a full Life Care Radio volunteer member. If you have a passion for music and radio, and enjoy working with people and making a difference then this role could be for you! We are actively looking for presenters who are reliable, proactive, and able to dedicate a bit of their time at Life Care Radio.

Why we want you

Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do, they help enhance the experience of care being provided. This role as a Life Care Radio Volunteer Full Member will include participating in activities with the aim of providing a free and inclusive radio service including taking and playing free music requests for clients in long term care to residential homes within the South Devon Area.

What you will be doing
  • Collecting requests from nursing and residential homes (if approved by Trustees)
  • Participating in station activities / fundraising
  • Maintaining volunteer/patient confidentiality
The skills you need
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to making a difference in people’s lives
  • Able to use a computer and some knowledge of music
